The rare luxury of personal time

Molitor and I are both suffering from the "work constantly from awake to asleep" symptom of life on the road with two small children. We have complained about it frequently but done little/figured out very little about changing that. This morning we each carved out sequential 30 minute slots (yes, 30 minutes of personal time a day is seen as a luxury...I feel like a damn settler woman), Molitor for journaling and abluting, me for yoga (I shall be stinky but taut!). This is perhaps the 4th time I've done yoga since we left on our trip (over 3 weeks ago), so it was very welcome. Add to that the powder blue skies, wispy clouds, lake breeze rustling the trees, and lake view, and well...Mommy Is Much Happier now. I do hope we manage to continue carving out personal time for ourselves on a regular basis. Otherwise this trip can become a bit like drudgery instead of a fun exploration.
